1 cup plain hummus
1 ½ cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftover chicken works great)
1/3 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
2 tbsp blue cheese crumbles (optional, but highly recommended)
Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grab an oven-safe dish (8×8 inch square or 9-inch pie plate works). No need to grease.
Spread the Hummus
Spoon hummus into the center of the dish.
Spread it into a smooth, even layer, reaching all edges.
Mix & Layer the Chicken
Toss shredded chicken with buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
Spread the saucy chicken over the hummus layer, keeping the layers distinct.
Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella or cheddar evenly over the chicken.
Scatter blue cheese crumbles on top if using.
Bake
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and edges are slightly golden.
Optional: switch oven to broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden top—watch carefully!
Serve
Let the dip rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, celery sticks, carrot batons, sliced baguette, or crackers.
