Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Stir in warm water and olive oil until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the dough into a circular shape.
  7. Place the rolled dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  8. Top with mozzarella, tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
