Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken

A delicious and crispy air fryer chicken thigh recipe seasoned with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss them in the seasoning mixture until they’re fully coated.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the chicken thighs, pressing a bit to help it stick.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  8. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.

Serve with roasted veggies or a fresh side salad. You can also try variations like adding red pepper flakes for spiciness or honey for a sweet touch.
