Asian Mango Glazed Chicken Twists

Delicious crispy chicken strips glazed with a luscious mango sauce, bursting with sweet and savory flavors.

  • 1 pound Chicken Breast
  • 1 large Ripe Mango
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • Sesame Seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by slicing it into strips, about one inch wide, and pat it dry.
  2. Marinate the chicken by combining soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl, then add chicken and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the mango glaze by chopping the ripe mango and blending it with the leftover marinade and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Cook the chicken in a heated skillet with oil for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Add the mango glaze to the chicken and cook for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Can substitute chicken thighs for a richer flavor or use tofu for a plant-based version.
