  • 120 ml smoky barbecue sauce
  • 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g shredded smoked gouda or cheddar
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, chopped
  • 60 g cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 30 g red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Chopped fresh cilantro or scallions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature, typically around 475°F (245°C).
  2. Prepare the dough by rolling it out into a circle or rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Add olive oil to the surface of the dough to prevent sogginess.
  4. Spread the smoky barbecue sauce evenly on the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Layer the cheeses starting with the shredded mozzarella followed by the smoky gouda or cheddar.
  6. Top it off with the chopped bacon and shredded chicken, then sprinkle the sliced red onions.
  7. Season with smoked paprika for extra flavor.
  8. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
