Beef Lo Mein Noodles

A comforting and flavorful Beef Lo Mein noodle dish, filled with tender beef and fresh vegetables, perfect for any occasion.

  • 8 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 1 pound beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 large carrots, diced into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 large onion, diced into 2-inch pieces
  • 4 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
  • 1/4 cup hot boiled water
  • 1 tablespoon Beef Better Than Bouillon
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or sesame oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the Lo Mein noodles: Boil a large pot of water, add noodles, cook until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare your beef: Toss sliced beef with sesame oil and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Stir-Fry the beef: Add beef to the skillet, cooking until browned (3-4 minutes), then remove from pan.
  5. Sauté the vegetables: In the same pan, add onion, carrots, and broccoli, cooking until tender (5-7 minutes).
  6. Add garlic: Toss in pressed garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  7. Create the sauce: Whisk together hot water, Beef Bouillon, soy sauce, and brown sugar, then pour over the mixture in the skillet.
  8. Toss in the noodles: Add cooked lo mein noodles and toss everything together until well coated.

Notes

Feel free to customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand. Adding sriracha or chili oil can pack a spicy punch!
