Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole

A nostalgic casserole filled with the classic flavors of cheeseburgers, topped with crispy French fries.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brown the beef: In a large skillet, add ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix in the ketchup and let it bubble for a couple of minutes.
  4. Assemble the casserole: Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread the beef mixture at the bottom, and layer the French fries on top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the fries.
  6. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until crispy and golden.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge or frozen for leftovers.
