Chocolate Chip Bread

A delightful loaf filled with warm, gooey chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan by greasing it with butter or nonstick spray.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients: melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream in another bowl until well mixed.
  5. Unite the mixtures by slowly pouring the wet into the dry, folding gently until combined.
  6. Add the chocolate chips, folding until evenly distributed.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  10. Slice and enjoy every delicious bite!
