1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp lemon zest

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tsp chopped fresh chives

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

½ tsp paprika

¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Stir in garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant (don’t brown it).

Remove from heat. Whisk in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, zest, and all seasonings.

Stir in chopped herbs last for a fresh finish.

Serve warm as a dipping sauce or brush it over meats, seafood, or veggies.
