Cranberry and Brie Crostini

Crispy toasted baguette slices topped with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce—this crostini is elegant, festive, and effortless. Doubling the servings makes it perfect for a crowd, and with a few tasty twists, it becomes an appetizer that truly shines on any holiday table.

2 baguettes, sliced into 2430 rounds

16 oz brie cheese, sliced into thin pieces

2 cups cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (twist: drizzle for sweetness)

1 tsp orange zest (twist: adds brightness to the cranberry topping)

¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted (optional, for crunch)

Fresh thyme or rosemary, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil. Toast 7–8 minutes until golden.

Top each toasted slice with a piece of brie. Return to oven for 2–3 minutes, just until the cheese begins to soften.

In a small bowl, stir cranberry sauce with orange zest. Spoon a small dollop onto each crostini.

Drizzle lightly with honey or maple syrup, then sprinkle with toasted nuts if desired.

Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary and serve warm.
