Creamy Spinach Pasta

A cozy dish combining rich creaminess and vibrant spinach, perfect for chilly evenings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add spinach to the skillet and stir until wilted.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes, then add Parmesan and mix until melted.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the creamy sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for cream. You can also add protein or other vegetables for variety.
