2 lbs (about 4 pieces) chicken breast

1 cup reduced sodium soy sauce

½ cup honey

¼ cup hoisin sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp toasted sesame oil

68 cloves garlic, minced

2 scallions, sliced

1 tsp sesame seeds

¼ tsp salt (or to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

Place chicken breasts in your crockpot.

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Pour the sauce over the chicken.

Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.

Shred the chicken in the sauce or serve whole.

Garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
