High Protein Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Delicious high-protein pizza rolls filled with pepperoni and cheese, perfect for a weeknight dinner or party snack.

  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unwrap your refrigerated pizza dough and place it on a lightly floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a little edge around the sides. Then, add the pepperoni slices and follow with the grated Parmesan cheese. Finally, sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top.
  4. Starting from one long side, roll the dough away from you tightly.
  5. Once you have your roll, slice it into 1-inch pieces and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops of each roll with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to mix up the fillings with your favorite ingredients. Make sure to not overfill the rolls to avoid bursting during baking.
