Perfectly Tender BBQ Beef Ribs

  • 3 pounds bone-in beef short ribs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Trim the fat from the ribs using a sharp knife.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, oregano, and brown sugar.
  4. Place the seasoned ribs in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  6. Remove the ribs from the oven and preheat your grill over medium-high heat.
  7. Brush BBQ sauce generously over each rib.
  8. Grill the ribs for 5-10 minutes on each side until caramelized.
  9. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing apple cider vinegar into the BBQ sauce.
