Quick Tuna Melt Wrap

A delicious twist on the classic tuna melt, this wrap combines creamy tuna filling with melty cheese, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla for an easy, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (5 oz) skipjack or yellowfin tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup corn, drained
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon dill relish or capers, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 burrito-sized tortilla (at least 10 inches in diameter)
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Tuna Filling: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna with Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Gently fold the mixture together using a fork.
  2. Add the Crunch: Mix in the corn, diced red onion, dill relish (or capers), garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until combined.
  3. Assemble the Wrap: Lay the tortilla flat and spoon the tuna mixture into the center, leaving space at the edges.
  4. Roll it Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom up while tucking in the filling.
  5. Grill to Perfection: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Brush the outside of the wrap with olive oil. Place the wrap seam-side down in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the wrap to cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melty.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Slice the wrap in half diagonally and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

You can prepare the filling in advance and keep it in the fridge for a couple of days. Feel free to customize the wrap with your favorite veggies or seasonings.
