Red Lobster Biscuit Chicken Pot Pie

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the chicken, vegetables, soup, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and broth in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Cut in the cold butter until coarse crumbs form. Add in the cheddar cheese.
  5. Add the milk to the flour mixture and combine gently.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the filling.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Pair it with a side salad or steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
