There’s something magical about picking fresh blueberries and turning them into a soothing tea. My grandmother used to steep this every summer afternoon — the aroma filled the house with peace and comfort. Now, it’s a tradition I cherish. Give this simple, refreshing tea a try — it’s a hug in a mug.
1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen)
4 cups water
2 black tea bags (or green tea if preferred)
1–2 tbsp honey (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
In a saucepan, bring water and blueberries to a boil.
Gently mash blueberries to release the juices.
Add tea bags, remove from heat, and steep for 10 minutes.
Strain into a teapot or pitcher.
Stir in honey and lemon juice if using.
Serve hot or chill and pour over ice.
