Take your game day treats to the next level with these Rice Krispie Treat Footballs. Classic, gooey marshmallow squares get a sporty twist when shaped into footballs, dipped in chocolate, and decorated with icing “laces.” They’re kid-friendly, no-bake, and guaranteed to be the MVP of your dessert table.
6 cups crispy rice cereal
4 tbsp butter
10 oz mini marshmallows
12 oz melting chocolate or chocolate chips
White icing or melted white chocolate (for decorating)
Optional: ½ tsp vanilla extract for extra flavor

Use cocoa rice cereal for a chocolate base
Roll in crushed nuts or sprinkles before chocolate sets
Make the Base
In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla, then mix in cereal until evenly coated.
Shape the Footballs
Grease your hands lightly and shape the mixture into small footballs while warm. Let cool on parchment paper.
Coat with Chocolate
