For the Salmon Patties:

2 cans (5 oz each) salmon, drained and flaked (or 1 1/2 cups cooked salmon)

1 egg

1/4 cup breadcrumbs or almond flour

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for pan-frying

For the Cottage Cheese Dip:

1/2 cup cottage cheese (blended until smooth)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon dill (fresh or dried)

1/2 garlic clove, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a bowl, combine salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and shape into 4–5 patties.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

In a blender or food processor, blend all dip ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Serve patties warm with the cottage cheese dip on the side or drizzled on top.
