Sheet Pan Chinese Beef and Broccoli

A quick and easy one-pan dish filled with savory flavors of beef and broccoli that’s sure to please the whole family.

  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by slicing the beef against the grain and chopping broccoli into florets.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. Make the marinade by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  4. Coat the beef thoroughly in the marinade using your hands.
  5. Combine the marinated beef and broccoli on a large sheet pan, drizzling with vegetable oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  7. Add garlic and ginger 5 minutes before cooking is complete.
  8. Serve with rice and garnish with sesame seeds.

Feel free to add more vegetables or swap beef with chicken or tofu. This dish is versatile and can be customized to your taste!
