Simple Teriyaki Chicken

A quick and delicious dish featuring marinated chicken, colorful vegetables, and sweet-savory teriyaki sauce—perfect for any weeknight dinner.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces, rinse broccoli, and slice bell pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet, adding olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken pieces in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Add broccoli and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Bring in the teriyaki sauce, mixing it with the chicken and veggies, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Plate over rice or quinoa and serve with garnish.

Notes
