These Sloppy Joe Sliders are a bite-sized twist on the classic—sweet, tangy, and saucy in all the best ways. Made with seasoned ground beef and served on soft Hawaiian rolls with buttery tops, they’re the ultimate party food or weeknight dinner win. No forks required, just napkins and happy hands.
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Optional: shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keep them connected like a sheet). Place bottom half in a baking dish.
Spoon sloppy joe mixture evenly over the bottom half. Top with cheese if using, then place top half of rolls back on.
Brush tops with melted butter.
Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes, until golden and warm.
Slice and serve hot.
