Slow Cooker Lasagna

A comforting and easy slow cooker version of the classic lasagna, perfect for busy days and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Lasagna Noodles
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Ground Beef (or Sausage)
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned, adding garlic and onion until translucent.
  2. Mix the ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, half a cup of Parmesan, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  3. Layer marinara sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, meat, and mozzarella in a greased slow cooker.
  4. Slow cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until cheese is bubbly.
  5. Rest the lasagna for 15-20 minutes before serving to help it set.

Notes

Feel free to swap in different cheeses or add vegetables based on personal preference. Letting the lasagna rest before serving enhances the flavors!
