2 lbs carrots, peeled and cut into sticks or coins
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Add carrots to the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon (if using), salt, and pepper.
Pour the glaze over the carrots and stir to coat.
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until carrots are tender.
