Ingredients

Scale

1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained

¾ cup granulated sugar

6 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 sleeve buttery round crackers (like Ritz), crushed

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or similar size.

Mix the base
In a large bowl, stir together both pineapples, sugar, flour, and shredded cheese. Spread the mixture evenly into the baking dish.

Top it off
In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter until evenly coated. Sprinkle over the pineapple mixture.

Bake
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Make-Ahead Tip:
Mix the pineapple base a day in advance and refrigerate. Store the crumb topping separately and add it just before baking.
