This golden cup of Turmeric Ginger Tea is pure comfort and clarity in a mug. 2 cups water

1-inch fresh ginger, thinly sliced (or ½ tsp ground ginger)

1-inch fresh turmeric, thinly sliced (or ½ tsp ground turmeric)

Juice of ½ lemon

1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup), to taste

Pinch of black pepper (to boost turmeric absorption)

Optional: a dash of coconut oil for extra richness

Instructions

Bring water to a gentle boil in a small pot.

Add ginger and turmeric slices. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Turn off heat and stir in lemon juice, honey, and black pepper.

Strain into your favorite mug.
