A fun and festive dessert featuring a chewy cookie crust topped with cream cheese frosting and a colorful array of fresh fruits resembling the American flag.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough (16.5 oz)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping (thawed)
  • 12 oz Fresh Raspberries (3 to 4 cups)
  • 1 dry pint Fresh Blueberries (about 2 cups)

Instructions

  2. Roll out the cookie dough and press it into the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
  4. Make the frosting by beating cream cheese until creamy, then adding sugar and vanilla, and folding in whipped topping.
  5. Frost the cooled cookie crust evenly with the cream cheese frosting.
  6. Arrange fresh raspberries and blueberries on top to create the American flag pattern.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter frosting, try using Neufchâtel cheese. If using frozen fruit, thaw and pat dry to avoid excess moisture.
