Apple Smoothie

A quick and healthy apple smoothie that captures nostalgic flavors of autumn in a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 large apple (cored; peel can remain on)
  • ½ large banana
  • 1 date
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Wash your apple, core and chop it into pieces.
  2. Peel your banana: Use half a banana, fresh or frozen.
  3. Date time: Soak dates in warm water if hard.
  4. Add ingredients to the blender: Layer them starting with softer ingredients.
  5. Blend it up: Mix until smooth, adding milk if too thick.
  6. Taste test: Adjust flavors as needed.
  7. Pour & enjoy: Serve in a glass and admire your creation!

Notes

Serve chilled, garnished with apple slices or cinnamon. Variations include adding spinach, nutmeg, or berries.
