Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place your refrigerated pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
Cook the bacon strips until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
Sauté the sliced onions in the remaining bacon grease until soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
Layer half of the crumbled bacon and onions in the pie crust, followed by the sliced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper, then add the rest of the bacon and onions.
Combine the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and mayonnaise in a medium bowl. Fold in the chopped fresh basil.
Spread the cheesy mixture over the layered ingredients in the pie crust.
Bake the pie for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with a garden salad or a dollop of sour cream.
