Banana Sushi

A whimsical and fun recipe for a healthy snack that kids will love to make and eat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 8-inch soft tortilla
  • 23 tablespoons smooth peanut butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1 ripe but firm banana
  • Optional grated or finely chopped vegetables (carrots, zucchini, cucumber)
  • Optional fruits (mangoes, strawberries, apples, pears)
  • Optional seeds (hemp, chia, or flax seeds)
  • Optional shredded coconut
  • Optional granola
  • Optional honey (not for under age 1)
  • Optional ricotta or yogurt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace by cleaning off a counter or tabletop.
  2. Lay Out the Tortilla flat on the cutting board.
  3. Spread the Peanut Butter evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Add the Banana on one edge of the tortilla.
  5. Sprinkle on Your Add-Ins.
  6. Roll It Up gently.
  7. Slice Into Pieces using a sharp knife.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!

Notes
