The Ultimate Bruschetta Recipe

A classic Italian appetizer made with fresh ingredients, perfect for any gathering.

  • 1 Baguette or Ciabatta Bread
  • 2 Fresh Tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil, chiffonade
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the bread diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Toast the bread on a baking sheet for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Prepare the tomato mixture by combining chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the fresh basil to the tomato mixture just before serving.
  6. Assemble the bruschetta by topping each slice of bread with the tomato mixture.
  7. Drizzle with additional olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.

Notes

Best served immediately while the bread is warm and crispy.
