Bruschetta

A delightful appetizer featuring fresh tomatoes, basil, and crispy toasted bread, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 Baguette
  • 4 Ripe Tomatoes, diced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch pieces on a slight diagonal.
  3. Toast the bread on a baking sheet for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Prep the tomato mixture by combining diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let the mixture marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Assemble the bruschetta by piling the tomato mixture onto each toasted bread slice.
  7. Serve and enjoy your masterpiece!

Notes

For an extra zing, rub a halved garlic clove on each slice before adding the tomato mix. Don’t rush the toasting process for the perfect crunch!
