Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

A decadent dessert combining creamy peanut butter filling and rich chocolate ganache in a crunchy Oreo crust.

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Peanut butter cups, for topping

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until finely crushed.
  2. Mix with melted butter until thoroughly combined.
  3. Press into a greased pie dish and chill for 30 minutes.
  4. Beat the cream cheese until smooth in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add powdered sugar and peanut butter, mixing until combined.
  6. Fold in whipped topping gently.
  7. Pour the peanut butter filling into the chilled crust.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  9. Prepare ganache by heating heavy cream and adding chocolate chips until smooth.
  10. Cool the ganache slightly and pour over the pie.
  11. Top with peanut butter cups and chill for another hour before serving.

Notes

For best results, make the pie a day in advance. Experiment with toppings like banana or nuts for variations.
