Cream of Mushroom Beef Patties

Delightful beef patties smothered in creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for family dinners or cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 additional ingredients of your choice (e.g., onions, garlic)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Finely chop any onion or garlic you want to include.
  2. Sauté Your Aromatics: In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of your favorite cooking oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  3. Mix the Beef and Seasonings: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper, mixing gently.
  4. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾-inch thick.
  5. Cook the Patties: In a skillet, add more oil if needed and cook patties over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  6. Prepare the Sauce: Remove patties and add cream of mushroom soup to the skillet. Stir and adjust consistency with beef broth if needed.
  7. Combine It All: Return patties to the skillet, spooning sauce over them. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Serve It Up: Transfer patties to a serving platter, spoon more sauce over them, and garnish.

Notes
