Spooky Halloween Skull Potatoes

  • 1 ½ pounds red mini creamer potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley flakes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prep the potatoes by rinsing and patting dry.
  3. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
  4. Cool the potatoes, then mash them in a bowl.
  5. Mix together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper, then fold into the mashed potatoes.
  6. Shape the potato mixture into skull forms.
  7. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley flakes before serving.
