  • 1/2 cup honey (raw or organic recommended)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp water (for slurry)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Chicken: Rinse and pat dry the chicken.
  2. Make the Sauce: Combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and water in a bowl. Whisk until mixed.
  3. Layer It Up: Place chicken in the crockpot and pour sauce over it.
  4. Let It Cook: Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  5. Thicken the Sauce: Mix cornstarch with water, stir into sauce 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve with additional sauce if desired.

Notes
