GF Apple Cider–Braised Pork Tenderloin

A comforting dish of pork tenderloin braised in apple cider with onions and apples, perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup GF apple cider
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sear the pork tenderloin in a skillet until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Add onions and apples to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. Deglaze the skillet with apple cider and return the pork.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Rest the pork before slicing and serve with the apple and onion mixture.

Notes

For a delightful presentation, serve family-style or individually with sides like mashed potatoes or salad.
