Honey Sesame Chicken

A flavorful dish of tender chicken coated in a sweet and savory honey-soy glaze, perfect for family dinners or impressing friends.

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • Green Onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Oil for frying (Canola or peanut oil)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken by tossing it with cornstarch until coated.
  2. Heat the Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Fry the Chicken in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Create the Sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a pan, simmering gently.
  5. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until well-coated and slightly thickened.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken before coating. Serve with rice or over salad for a crunchy finish.
