One-Pan Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta

A delicious and easy one-pan pasta dish bursting with the flavors of creamy tomatoes and fresh basil, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta of Choice (Spaghetti or penne)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 15 oz Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  2. Add the canned diced tomatoes and let simmer for about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Cook the pasta in the broth, covering and simmering for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream until well combined.
  6. Finish with chopped basil and Parmesan, adjusting salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Plate and serve directly from the skillet.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with garlic bread and a fresh salad. Can be customized with vegetables or proteins.
