Fudgy Molten Double Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dairy-free milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Prep your kitchen by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir gently.
  4. Incorporate the chocolate chips and cinnamon into the mixture.
  5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Fill the dough with more chocolate chips and cinnamon, then roll it into a log.
  7. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls.
  8. Bake in the prepared baking dish for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Make the frosting by mixing dairy-free cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk.
  10. Frost the warm rolls and serve.

Notes

These rolls can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge overnight before baking.
