Kale Mango Smoothie

A refreshing and nutrient-packed smoothie blending kale, mango, and orange for a delightful tropical twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed kale (fresh or frozen, stems removed)
  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 medium orange (peeled)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)

Instructions

  1. Prep the kale: If you’re using fresh kale, start by removing the tough stems. If you have frozen kale, simply grab a cup.
  2. Add ingredients to the blender: Layer the kale first, then the mango chunks, followed by the peeled orange, and finally pour in the almond milk.
  3. Blend it up: Place the lid on tight and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds to a minute.
  4. Adjust the consistency: If it’s thick, add more almond or coconut milk; if too thin, toss in more frozen mango or ice.
  5. Taste test and tweak: Sweeten with honey or maple syrup, or balance with lemon juice as needed.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Pour into a glass or bowl, and garnish as desired.

Notes

This versatile smoothie can be modified by adding protein powder, nut butter, or different fruits.
