Apple Cinnamon Date Smoothie

A delightful and comforting smoothie that blends the flavors of apples, cinnamon, and dates, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 2 Your Favorite Kind of Apples (peeled and cored)
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 4 Large Medjool Dates (pitted, about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 Cup Ice
  • 3/41 Cup Milk (or amount to taste)
  • Apple Wedge(s) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the apples by peeling, coring, and slicing them.
  2. Blend the apple slices and cinnamon in a blender.
  3. Add the pitted Medjool dates to the mix.
  4. Scoop out the vanilla ice cream and add it to the blender.
  5. Include the milk, starting with 3/4 cup.
  6. Time to blend until smooth.
  7. Tweak for sweetness if needed.
  8. Add ice cubes if a thicker consistency is desired.
  9. Serve the smoothie into tall glasses and garnish with apple wedges.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ice cream with Greek yogurt or non-dairy alternatives. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more dates or honey.
