  • 1 cup apple compote
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep Your Pan: Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  3. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, add the softened butter and sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Stir in the Apple Compote: Gently fold in the apple compote.
  8. Fill the Cupcake Liners: Spoon the batter into the prepared liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  9. Bake: Bake for about 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool Down: Let the cupcakes cool in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
  11. Make the Frosting: Mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  12. Frost the Cupcakes: Spread frosting generously on top.
  13. Sprinkle with Cinnamon: Dust some ground cinnamon on top.
