This Apple Pie Smoothie captures the cozy flavors of a classic apple pie in a creamy, nutritious drink.

  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened diced apples
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch ground cloves (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional, for thicker consistency)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Start by measuring out your ingredients. Having everything ready to go is my favorite kitchen hack.
  2. Add the Base Ingredients: In your blender, pour in the almond milk first.
  3. Pack in the Goodness: Next, add the Greek yogurt followed by the frozen diced apples.
  4. Spoon in the almond butter for that nutty richness.
  5. Drizzle in the pure maple syrup and taste test for sweetness.
  6. Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional cloves.
  7. Don’t forget the vanilla extract!
  8. Toss in some ice cubes if you want a thicker consistency.
  9. Blend it all together on high until smooth.
  10. Taste test and adjust sweetness or spice as needed.
  11. Pour your Apple Pie Smoothie into a glass and garnish if desired.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, add more ice. Use fresh apples for a different texture but add ice for chill.
