  • 1 cup kale, stems removed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Start by washing your blueberries and kale. Make sure your banana is peeled and broken into chunks.
  2. Blend the greens first: Place your kale and almond milk in the blender first. Blend on high speed until the kale is completely broken down.
  3. Add the fruit: Once your kale and milk are blended, add your blueberries and banana. Blend again.
  4. Check the creaminess: If using Greek yogurt, add it along with honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend again.
  5. Adjust the consistency: If too thick, add a splash more almond milk. If desired, toss in ice cubes and blend one last time.
  6. Taste and personalize: Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness as needed; blend again.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Pour into a glass, and consider topping with whole blueberries or chia seeds.
