A refreshing and nutrient-rich Green Apple Smoothie that’s perfect for kick-starting your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe, frozen banana
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. flax seeds
  • 1 green apple, sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or nut milk of choice)
  • Optional: protein powder or collagen of choice

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Add the frozen banana first to the blender.
  3. Toss in the spinach leaves.
  4. Add the chia and flax seeds.
  5. Slice and add the green apple.
  6. Pour in the almond milk.
  7. Blend until smooth and combined.
  8. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  9. Serve in a glass and enjoy!

Notes

You can add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness and serve with garnishes like chia seeds.
