Create a spooky feast this Halloween with these 100 easy finger food appetizers that are perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • Mini hot dogs
  • Puff pastry sheets
  • Cream cheese
  • Olives
  • Bell peppers
  • Pumpkin puree
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips
  • Corn on the cob
  • Chocolate
  • Marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into strips that can easily wrap around each mini hot dog.
  3. Wrap the strips around the hot dogs, leaving the tip exposed.
  4. Press an almond sliver onto the exposed tip to resemble a finger nail.
  5. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with shredded cheddar and your favorite spices until smooth.
  7. Scoop out small portions and roll into balls to form ‘ghosts.’
  8. Place mini olives on top for eyes.
  9. Chill for a bit, then serve with crackers.
  10. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  11. Cut the tops off your bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  12. Cook ground meat or veggie substitute, mix in cooked rice, and season as desired.
  13. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers, and cut out face shapes on the front.
  14. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  15. Roll out puff pastry and cut into thin strips.
  16. Wrap the strips around each hot dog, leaving a small gap for the “eyes.”
  17. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, until golden.
  18. Use dots of mustard to create eyes once out of the oven.
