Easy Kale Smoothie

A delicious and nutritious kale smoothie that blends greens with sweet fruits for a refreshing breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 cup mango or pineapple chunks
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 cup coconut water

Instructions

  1. Prep your greens: Wash your spinach and kale under cool water and pat dry.
  2. Chop your fruits: Slice fresh mango or use frozen chunks.
  3. Load your blender: Add spinach and kale, then layer fruits on top.
  4. Pour in the coconut water: Add to the blender for smooth blending.
  5. Blend it up! Start on low and increase to high for 30-60 seconds until smooth.
  6. Check the consistency: Scrape down the sides and blend again if needed.
  7. Taste and adjust: Add honey or agave if sweeter is desired.
  8. Serve and enjoy: Pour into glasses and garnish if desired.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, consider adding yogurt or more frozen fruit. Fresh kale can be used instead of frozen for vibrant flavor.
