Chocolate Hazelnut Tiramisu

A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu featuring creamy mascarpone, chocolate hazelnut spread, and fresh pears for added flair.

  • 300g mascarpone cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 cup strong coffee, cooled
  • 200g chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 200g ladyfinger cookies
  • Fresh pears, diced
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coffee Mixture: Brew strong coffee and let it cool completely.
  2. Whip the Eggs and Sugar: Beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add the Mascarpone: Gently fold mascarpone into the egg mixture.
  4. Incorporate the Chocolate Hazelnut Spread: Fold chocolate hazelnut spread evenly into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Prepare Your Ladyfingers: Briefly dip ladyfingers into cooled coffee and lay in a serving dish.
  6. Layer It Up: Spoon half the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat the process with another layer.
  7. Chill and Set: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Finish with Cocoa Powder: Dust cocoa powder over the top before serving.
  9. Add Fresh Pears: Sprinkle diced pears just before serving.

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
