No-Bake German Chocolate Pie

A rich and decadent no-bake pie with classic German chocolate flavors, featuring chocolate, toasted coconut, and crunchy pecans.

  • 1 prepared chocolate cookie pie crust (9-inch)
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut (toasted)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
  • 1 ½ cups sweetened condensed milk (about 1 can)
  • 1 bar (4 oz) German’s sweet chocolate (or semi-sweet), melted
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (optional, for garnish)
  • Chocolate shavings or extra pecans (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Cookie Pie Crust.
  2. Make the Chocolate Pudding.
  3. Toast the Coconut and Pecans.
  4. Combine the Filling.
  5. Fill the Pie Crust.
  6. Chill and Set.
  7. Garnish.
  8. Slice and Serve.

Notes

For an even richer taste, use slightly less milk than called for on the pudding mix package. Allow the pie to chill overnight for best results.
